Make that 17 straight wins for Divine Art

Divine Art (Outrageous Art) made it 17 harness racing wins in a row at Cal Expo Harness Friday night (Feb. 10) when she captured the featured Filly and Mare Open Pace for owner/driver/trainer Gerry Longo.

Sent off the 1-5 choice, Divine Art was parked to the lead at the quarter, was able to carve out the fractions thereafter without challenge and then held safe by a head over a hard charging Give Me This Dance in a 1:53 2/5 performance.

The 4-year-old mare recorded the first 12 wins of the streak in her native Canada and is now perfect in five starts since venturing down to California and joining the Longo Stable at Cal Expo. She paid just $2.20 to win.
