DOVER, Del.— Corey Callahan, Dylan Davis were repeat harness racing winners, while Bandolito was named Horse of the Meet for the 2014-2015 season at Dover Downs.
For the sixth consecutive season, Callahan led all drivers at the track in winning drives. He made the winners circle 282 times. Davis came on from mid-pack in early 2015 to win the leading trainer award for the second straight meet He completed the season haltering 65 winners.
The fast pacer, Bandolito was presented the Horse of the Meet plaque choses by Delaware Valley Chapter U.S. Harness Writers Association. His 1:48.1 victory last month was the fastest of the meet and one-fifth of-a-second from equaling the track record he shares with Heston Blue Chip.
The 2015-2016 Dover Downs meet, its 47th, is expected to begin in early November.
Throughout the year, Harness and Thoroughbred Simulcasting opens daily at 12 Noon until 12 Midnight at Dover Downs Race and Sports Book in the Colonnade. There is no charge for parking or admission at Dover Downs.
