Dover In Motion (Dover Dan, John De Long) won the $32,000 Open Handicap harness racing trot at Miami Valley Raceway on Monday (Jan. 22).
Predator And Prey (Brett Miller) took the early lead from the inside. Flagman (Trace Tetrick) had the lead as they came to the opening quarter in :27.1, leaving Predator And Prey in second. Adamsville Road (Austin Hanners) was racing in third. They passed the half mile in :56 with Flagman leading the way by a length and a half.
As they came to the three-quarter mile in 1:24.2, Renegade Gypsy (Jeremy Smith) was first-over, looking to challenge Predator And Prey for second.
As they turned for home, Dover In Motion rushed from the far outside to challenge Flagman for the lead. Dover In Motion crossed the wire in 1:53.1. Renegade Gypsy followed in second and Predator And Prey got third.
