A Well Said filly disrupted the domination of Downbytheseaside from winning all four harness racing divisions of the Buckeye Stallion Series races for 2-year-old filly pacers at Eldorado Scioto Downs on Thursday (Sept 9).
Bittrsweetsymphony (Tyler Smith) came from the back of the pack to win the fourth and last division in 1:53.4. Twenty (Chris Page) took the early lead off the car but Tootsies Dreamhill (Don Irvine, Jr.) was right on her outside at the :28 opening quarter. Irvine angled Tootsies Dreamhill to the front but Harmony of Notes (Jeremy Smith) came roaring up and took over by the :56.2 half. Bittrsweetsymphony worked her way first up from sixth and flushed cover from Twenty who took back over the lead at the 1:25 three-quarters. Bittrsweetsymphony came off the last turn to win her seventh straight race by threelengths. Twenty was second and Odds On Vienna (Josh Sutton) got up for third. Bittrsweetsymphony went off as the 6/5 favorite and paid $4.40 to win.
