Drama Act goes down the road at Yonkers

Drama Act (Well Said) went down the road for driver George Brennan in wiring the field to capture the $36,000 Fillies and Mares Open Handicap Pace Friday (Oct. 6) at Yonkers Raceway.

Starting from post four, Brennan sent the 5-1 Drama Act right to the front at the start of the 8^th race feature. Drama Act cut fractions of :26.4, :55.4 and 1:23, holding the field at bay.

As they came down the stretch, Drama Act kept her lead intact, winning with ease by two and one-half lengths in 1:51.1. Race favorite Coachellabound N (Brent Holland) was second with Karma Seelster (Jordan Sratton) third.

It was the 11^th win on the year for Drama Act and her 40^th career victory. She is trained by Ron Burke for owners The OK Corral, who also bred the mare. She paid $13.00 to win.
