Columbus, OH — On Friday (April 1), Daily Racing Form (DRF) launched a new program to promote the U.S. Trotting Association’s Strategic Wagering Program.
Each day, DRF will feature one USTA Strategic Wager from the schedule in their PostTime daily email newsletter (more than 175,000 subscribers), on two Twitter feeds, @DailyRacingForm (62,000 followers) and @DRFHarness (7,880 followers), and through DRFBets push notifications (40,000 subscribers). In addition, each tweet will tag the USTA’s Strategic Wagering Twitter account — @USTAStratWag.
“This is an exciting new promotion with Daily Racing Form that will help to boost betting on USTA Strategic Wagers by directly delivering information to a sophisticated wagering audience on a daily basis to nearly 285,000 email addresses, Twitter accounts and DRFBets subscribers,” said USTA Director of Marketing and Communications Dan Leary.
The schedule will rotate to include all USTA member tracks that are hosting Strategic Wagers on their betting menus. Also, the schedule will highlight wagers that were not hit and feature carryovers from the previous racing cards.
“DRF is excited to be working with the USTA to promote the Strategic Wagering initiative,” said DRF Harness Editor Derick Giwner. “This partnership will increase the social media and digital reach of many lucrative Standardbred wagering opportunities to more potential players.”
