John MacDonald had a driving grand slam to lead all harness racing drivers at Vernon Downs on Saturday (May 6).
MacDonald got wins with Sugaree Express ($6.70), Bridgestone ($6.10), Syracuse Express ($2.60), and Kisses From Above ($2.70).
Rock Of Cashel (Majestic Son) and driver Dylan Huckabone Miller captured the featured $7,500 trot.

Rock Of Cashel ($14.40) went to the front and led to the quarter in :28.1. Discus Hanover (John MacDonald) took over control going around the first turn and led to the half in :57.3. Rock Of Cashel made his move going around the final turn. Discus Hanover was first to three-quarters in 1:27.0.
As they made the turn for home Rock Of Cashel blew right on by to win in 1:55.2. Katkin Morgan (Jimmy Whittemore) came up to finish second. Lepanto (Barton Dalious) earned third Money.
Rock Of Cashel is a 13-year-old horse, is trained by Mark Harder for owners Joseph Jannuzzelli and Jeffrey Ruch. It was his second win of the season and the 56th of his career.

David Dewhurst had a training triple. Jessica Okusko had a training double. Huckabone-Miller and Jimmy Whittemore had driving doubles.
