Drop in class helps Im No Outlaw N

Im No Outlaw N (Bettor’s Delight) utilized a class drop and the post position draw to go coast-to-coast in Saturday evening’s harness racing feature at Saratoga Casino Hotel.

The Jackie Greene trainee drew the rail for his try in an $11,500 event for pacers on Saturday. Jimmy Devaux sat behind Im No Outlaw N, who has been an Open participant throughout much of the season, and took advantage of the post draw to cut the mile.

After setting leisurely fractions in the first half, Im No Outlaw N began to pick up the pace heading past three quarters in 1:26 before being confronted late by the race’s favorite, pocket-sitter Carrythetorchman (Brett Beckwith). Im No Outlaw N held strong in the stretch before stopping the timer in 1:54 for his sixth win of the season holding off the first-over bid from Rock Candy (Jay Randall) and Carrythetorchman who finished second and third, respectively.

Im No Outlaw N paid $7.50 to win in the Saturday feature. The winner is owned by Kellogg Racing Stables LL and Jackie Greene Stables LLC.
