HARRINGTON, DE – Delaware Standardbred Breeders Fund (DSBF) 1st leg action for harness racing 3-year-old fillies and colts wrapped up Wednesday (June 12) at Harrington Raceway with six $20,000 divisions for trotters.
Going Platinum (EL Platinum) and driver Corey Callahan started the night a 2:02.1 winner in the early non-wagering event, the first division for filly trotters. The filly led all the way for trainer Nick Callahan. Glide Along was second with Chinco Mayo third. It was one of 4 driving wins for Callahan on the card.
The second division went to Platinum Proposal (EL Platinum) and driver Jim Morand in 2:00.4, over Little Silver and Wolfpack Wilma. Owned by Stuart Chambers, Bcjm Inc., and Diving Horse Racing, it was the 6th career win for the filly, who is trained by Les Givens, who had three wins on the card. The 1/9 favorite paid just $2.10 to win.
Deborah Warnick’s Royal Beep Beep (Yankee Royalty) and driver Montrell Teague won the first division for colts and geldings in 1:59.4. The gelding achieved his 5th win lifetime over Trout Master and Portnoy. He paid $3.80 to win.

Lg’s Bluestone (Anders Bluestone) and driver Art Stafford Jr. won the second division for male trotters in 1:59.3 over Workslikeacharm and Jetsam. The gelding notched his 5th career win for co-owner/trainer Givens. Stafford Jr. had 3 victories Wednesday. He paid $5.80 to win.
LG’S BLUESTONE REPLAY
Another Givens-trainee would capture the final division as Nanticoke Racing’s Lg’s Jaxon (Rolls Blue Chip) and driver Jim Morand were a 1:59.3 winner over Daddy Wags and Chief Funster. The gelding set all the fractions in his 9th career win. He paid $2.20 to win.

In the $22,500 Free-for-All Trot, Breakaway Racing and Yorwhollohan Racing Team’s Speed Away ($5.60, Callahan) notched his 4th win of the meet in 1:56 over Remarkable De Vie and That Ole Bar Stool. The Nick Callahan-trainee recently surpassed $200,000 lifetime and has 14 career wins.
