Winbak Farm of Delaware is proud to welcome E L Platinum, 3, 1:53.4 ($29,760), in 2025.

“E L Platinum is a correct and outstanding looking individual with a royal pedigree,” said owner, Sonja Booth. “He’s a full-brother to proven stallions, EL Ideal and E L Titan.”

E L Platinum

E L Platinum is a full-brother to Bluegrass Stakes Winner, EL Ideal, 1:52.1f ($830,857), who has found success as a stallion in Italy, and Carl Erksine Stakes Winner, E L Titan, 1:51.2f ($702,473), who has sired multiple North American stakes winners and is now standing in Australia. He is a half-brother to Appomattox, 3, 1:52.2 ($619,886), and Charles Smith Final Winner, E L Rocket, 1:53.4f ($379,414).

“When E L Platinum became available to stand at Winbak Farm of Delaware, we were excited for the chance to add him to our Delaware lineup,” said Joe Thomson, Winbak Farm Owner. “His pedigree is stacked from top to bottom with proven sires.”

His dam, Bluegrass Stakes Winner, Courtney Hall, 3, 1:55.4 ($118,986), is a full-sister to USHWA and O’Brien Award Winner, Cameron Hall, 1:53.4s ($1,816,236), and to the dam of Cantab Hall, 3, 1:54 ($1,442,303).

“E L Platinum’s pedigree has some of the best trotting stallions of all time,” said Jack Burke, Winbak Farm General Manager. “He is already a proven cross with Chocolatier, CR Commando, Credit Winner, Donato Hanover, Glidemaster and Kadabra mares.”

Also in his maternal family are Andover Hall, 3, 1:51.3 ($870,510), Angus Hall, 3, 1:54.3 ($830,654), Conway Hall, 3, 1:53.4 ($818,884), and Trixton, 3, 1:50.3 ($947,057).

“E L Platinum offspring have been phenomenal in Delaware the past 2 seasons,” said Burke. “I was personally impressed by the 7 straight wins that Melvin G had this year that included 2 $110,000 DSBF Finals.”

E L Platinum, a son of Muscle Hill, has 2 crops of racing age. He is the sire of 5 Winners of Delaware Standardbred Breeders Fund Final Winners, including Platinum Proposal, 3, 1:57.3f -’24 ($311,331), Going Platinum, 3, 1:57.1f -’24 ($295,374), Workslikeacharm, 3, 1:56.3f -’24 ($197,560), Melvin G,  2, 1:57.2f -’24 ($162,437), Lovies Place, 3, 1:57.3h -’24 ($127,700), and Lady Burg, 2, 2:00f -’24 ($94,150). Platinum Proposal and Going Platinum won Finals at both 2 and 3.

“E L Platinum is currently ranked fourth in the United States for average earnings per 2-year-old performers with 11 of his 16 eligible foals making it to races,” said Booth. “He is ranked right behind top sires, Chapter Seven, Gimpanzee, and Googoo Gaagaa, and his average is ahead of Walner, Greenshoe and Muscle Hill.”

E L Platinum will stand for $3,000 in 2025. There will be multiple mare discounts available. For more information on E L Platinum and Winbak Farm of Delaware’s 2025 lineup, please visit www.winbakfarm.com.

“E L Platinum’s Delaware statistics speak for themselves,” said Thomson. “We look forward to standing this handsome stallion and giving the Delaware breeders another fantastic option for their trotting mares in 2025.”
