Brett Miller sent the eventual winner three-wide around the final turn and outsprinted his challengers to score the victory in 1:53.4.

E-pass (Chris Page) and Elegant Resolve battled for early command, with Pizzelle caught three-wide in the first turn.

David Miller was forced to send his charge to the lead at the quarter in :27.3, half in :56.2 and three-quarters in 1:26.2.

Luke Hanners pulled Elegant Resolve out around the final turn and cruised past the favorite by 2 ½ lengths at the wire.

My Pal Sparky (Cam McCown) rounded out the trifecta.
