Northfield, Ohio —Harness racing driver Eddie Miller has been around long enough to know that when a driver has the best horse in the race the best place to be is on the front-end and that’s just where young Eddie put 3-5 favorite Bold Strategy in the $9,000 Great Lakes Amateur Drivers Association trot tonight at MGM Northfield Park.
Confident after starting from the two-hole, Miller zipped his veteran Break The Bank K gelding to the lead and played catch-me if you can… and nobody could as Bold Strategy went directly to the front and made every pole a winning one en route to a whopping seven-length triumph in 1:58.
Riverdancing Diva, driven by Manny Miller, got away second and held that position all the way to the wire. Third place went to Bold Roscoe (Kelly Walker).
BOLD STRATEGY REPLAY
Bold Strategy ($3.20) is owned by Rebecca Sugg, Watson Harness Racing and Mary Stucky and trained by Eddie Miller.
