WASHINGTON, PA, Feb. 23, 2023 — Fawn De Touched (Touchdown Town-Nicole Hall) pounced on the dueling leaders in deep stretch and captured Thursday’s (Feb. 23) harness racing feature at Hollywood Casino at The Meadows, a $15,400 Conditioned Trot.
While Windsong Patriot and Whiskey Blu battled head-to-head for much of the third quarter, Fawn De Touch took it all in, trotting patiently in seventh. When Brady Brown showed her racetrack in the lane and cut her loose, the 5-year-old mare overtook the pair in the shadow of the wire, triumphing in 1:55. Windsong Patriot was a neck back in second, with Whiskey Blu third.
