First-over charge takes FFA Trot

HARRINGTON, DE – Breakaway Racing and Yorwollohan Racing’s Speed Away (Father Patrick) and harness racing driver Corey Callahan were a 1:54.2 winner in the $22,500 Free-For-All Trot Wednesday (May 22) at Harrington Raceway.

Oh Boy left the gate from post position two and led through the first three points of call before Speed Away’s first-over charge wore him down at the top of the stretch, on route to a 3-length win. Oh Boy held on for second with Northern Express third. Trained by Nick Callahan, it was the 2^nd win of the season and meet for the 6-year-old gelding and fastest time of the meet thus far for a trotter. He paid $8.20 to win.

Jim Morand had 3 wins on the card. Callahan joined Troy Beyer with a driving double.
