Diamond Creek Farm and the Sweet Lou Syndicate are pleased to announce that Sweet Lou is booked full and closed for the 2024 harness racing season.
Sweet Lou

The newly crowned “2023 Pacing Sire of the Year” by the United States Harness Writers Association, had a killer year.  Sweet Lou is the sire of Confederate, who banked $1,633,854 in 2023, lifetime $2,088,554.  He is also the sire of NA Cup and Little Brown Jug winner, It’s My Show ($1,136,965).   On top of these millionaires, Sweet Lou can boast multiple $500,000 plus winners with Cannibal, Geocentric and My Girl EJ.  Sweet Lou will have sons Confederate, Cannibal and Lou’s Pearlman all heading to stud in 2024.

2024 marks Sweet Lou’s 10th year at stud – 10 years of full books.  We call 2023 “The Year of Lou” but really…it’s the “Decade of Lou”

Diamond Creek and the Pebble Beach Syndicate have announced that Pebble Beach will stand at Sugar Valley Farm in Ohio in 2024.

The Breeders Crown and North America Cup winner will stand for a stud fee of $7,500.  Pebble Beach will join the Sugar Valley roster alongside his dominating sire, Downbytheseaside.

“Pebble Beach is poised to succeed in Ohio,”said Sugar Valley’s Joe McLead. “He is the heir apparent to top sire Downbytheseaside and we can’t wait to see the speed and class in his Ohio bred babies.”

Pebble Beach is a very fertile and excellent physical individual that hails from a blue-blooded Brittany Farm family full of millionaires.  He was an exceptional 2-year-old – setting a mark of 1:48.4 with multiple stakes wins. He backed that up as a 3-year-old with North America Cup and Breeders Crown wins as divisional Dan Patch award winner.
