Fox Valley Leah (Todd Warren) goes from last to first to win the featured fillies & mares’ pace at Tioga Downs on Friday (June 20).

Fox Valley Leah

PL Princess C (Jeff Long) went straight to the front and led to the quarter in :27.1.  She used a :29.2 second quarter to be first to the half in :56.3.  Quarrel (Mike Merton) was first to challenge as they headed down the backstretch.  PL Princess C led to three-quarters in 1:24.0.

As they reached the stretch Fox Valley Leah ($3.30) came flying down the lane like her tail was on fire.  She passed them all and won in 1:52.2.  PL Princess C had to settle for second.  Quarrel finished third.

Fox Valley Leah is a 5-year-old mare by Somestarsomewhere.  She is owned by Lester Peters and trainer Todd Warren.  It was her fifth win this season.  She now has 22 career victories.

FOX VALLEY LEAH REPLAY

Ridge Warren and Braxten Boyd had driving triples.  Cameron Capone and Paul Long had training doubles.

Tioga Downs returns to live racing on Saturday (June 21) with a post time of 6:15 p.m.
