Goshen, NY – Families and horse lovers, get ready for an exciting day of hands-on activities, crafts and live demonstrations at the 4-H Day at the Museum on Sunday, March 9, 2025 at the Harness Racing Museum & Hall of Fame in Goshen, New York. This free open house event runs from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, with special demonstrations taking place from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM.

A Day of Fun & Learning
This event is a special collaboration between the Museum and the New York State 4-H Horse Program, designed to introduce youth and families to the world of harness racing, equine education, and hands-on learning. Attendees will have the chance to:
- Participate in fun horse-themed crafts and activities
- Watch engaging demonstrations by 4-H youth and Equine Professionals
- Learn about harness racing history and 4-H equine programs
- Experience the Museum’s interactive exhibits and harness racing simulator
The Harness Racing Museum & Hall of Fame is dedicated to preserving and sharing the incredible history of harness racing—one of America’s oldest and most thrilling equestrian sports. Through interactive exhibits, the harness racing simulator and fascinating artifacts, visitors can explore how Standardbred horses and the sport of harness racing have shaped history.
