Majorca N (Art Major) and harness racing driver Corey Callahan had no trouble wiring the field with ease in capturing the $25,000 Fillies and Mares Open Pace Wednesday, November 2 at Ballyās Dover Downs.
The 12th race feature got underway with Callahan sending Majorca N right to the front with Shes Pukka N (Tony Morgan) grabbing the two-hole trip to the opening quarter mile in a speedy :26.4.
Majorca N led the field past the half mile in :55.3 as Scarlett Hanover (Jason Thompson) came up first-over with A Delightful Act N (Art Stafford, Jr.) second-over as they went to the three-quarters in 1:23.3.
By the top of the stretch, Callahan let Majorca N have her head and she rolled down the stretch to win by two and one-half lengths in 1:51.3. The pocket sitting Shes Pukka N was second with Grace Rocks closing for third place.
