Feeling Sweet (Sweet Lou) benefitted from a perfect harness racing journey by driver Montrell Teague and won the $19,000 Fillies/Mares Winners Over Select Pace at Ballyās Dover on Wednesday (Dec. 20) night.
Tae, Feeling Sweet and Majorca N left in a line approaching the quarter pole. Feeling Sweet cleared for the lead at the quarter in a blistering :26.1.
Majorca N was parked three-wide from post 8 at the quarter but muscled her way to the top approaching the half mile in :55.2. Disturbed Hanover sprinted first up down the backstretch.Ā Quick E followed second over on the rim then circled three-wide approaching the three quarters in 1:24.2.
Feeling Sweet, the 6/5 betting favorite, was feeling good off of the pocket trip by driver Montrell Teague.Ā They tipped off the pylons and surged past Majorca N to win in 1:53.4 by half a length.

Feeling Sweet is owned by George and Tina Dennis Racing of Wyoming, Delaware. Joe Columbo is the trainer Majorca N finished second with Tae third.
Ballyās Doverās feature race on Thursday is the12th race $27,500 Blue Hen/ Open Handicap Pace. I Did It Myway attempts to win his third consecutive start in the event.
There will be a $4,542 Pick 5 carryover to Thursday nightās action.Ā The wager is available beginning on the 6th race. Ballyās Dover will race its final night of live harness before the Christmas break on Thursday.
Ballyās Dover will be dark from Monday December 25th thru Thursday December 28th.Ā Live racing returns on January 1st, 2024.
