Goshen, NY – The annual Harness Racing Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony will take place Sunday, July 7, 2024, at the Harness Racing Museum & Hall of Fame in Goshen, New York. The Ceremony begins at 5:00 p.m.
Congratulations are in order for the newest class of Hall of Famers: Jim Campbell, Ed Lohmeyer and David McDuffee, and Communicators Tim Bojarski and the late Dave Brower.
Also being honored are the new members of the Living Horse Hall of Fame: Gimpanzee, Mission Brief, Tall Dark Stranger, Wiggle It Jiggleit and broodmares Shyaway and Western Montana. Col. Elisha A. Buck, James Clark and Direct Scooter will be inducted as Harness Racing Immortals.
The 2024 Museum Amateur Club Driving Champion is Mike Kimelman. Confederate will be honored with the Delvin & Mary Lib Miller 2023 Horse of the Year Perpetual Trophy.

The Museum’s 30th Annual Restoration Raffle to support conservation care is in full swing. Call the Museum and buy your Raffle tickets now! Drawing will take place on July 7.
The grand opening of the Museum’s newest exhibit featuring the Communicators Hall of Fame is scheduled for 10:00 a.m. Saturday morning, July 6, with a reception following at 10:30 a.m. in Haughton Hall. Other activities Saturday includes a book reading by Lettie Teague, author of the Marguerite Henry biography Dear Readers and Riders, also at 10:30 in Haughton Hall.
On Sunday from 1:00 – 3:00 p.m. there will be a Children’s Craft at the Fleming Barn, followed by the Hall of Fame autograph session at 3:00. Montrell Teague will sign Wiggle It Jiggleit memorabilia.
The Harness Racing Museum & Hall of Fame, 240 Main Street, Goshen, New York is open 10:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. and there is free admission this weekend. Historic Track will be racing with a post time of 1:00 p.m., July 5-7.
