Bo Mach won back-to-back in the $27,500 Blue Hen/ Open Handicap Pace at Dover Downs on Thursday night.
Bo Mach and Rose Run Uriah battled for the early lead. They reached the opening quarter in a sizzling :26. Driver Corey Callahan retreated and took the pocket trip. Rose Run Uriah and driver Pat Berry continued onto the lead and set the fractions of :26 flat, the half was reached in :55 (:29) and the three-quarter mark in 1:22.3 (:27.3).
Island Of The Sea attacked first-over past the half. Slick Tony grabbed the second-over cover. Island Of The Sea and Rose Run Uriah dueled into the lane.
Bo Mach and driver Corey Callahan found room off a perfect trip and drove along the inside to win by a neck in 1:51.2. They paid $4.20 as the betting race favorite.
Bo Mach (Mach Three– Magnify This- Run The Table) is owned by Howard Taylor of Philadelphia, PA. He is trained by Dylan Davis. Rose Run Uriah was second for trainer A. Bobby Glassmeyer. Pat Berry drove. Island Of The Sea was 3rd for trainer Eric Ell. George Napolitano Jr had the driving assignment.
