Penzance Hanover made it three wins in a row in capturing the $32,500 Open/ Preferred Handicap Pace at Dover Downs on Thursday night.
Penzance Hanover was parked to the quarter and punished the field through race fractions of :26.1, :54.2 (:28.1) and 1:22.1 (:27.4).
Movinā On Up and driver Tim Tetrick raced 1st up down the backstretch. Rose Run Uriah sat in the pocket, but neither could gain on the leader.
Penzance Hanover and driver Art Stafford Jr were under wraps winning by three quarters of a length in 1:50. He was sent off as the betting choice and paid $4.80 to win.
Penzance Hanover (Somebeachsomewhere) is owned, trained and driven by Art Stafford Jr of Felton Delaware.
Movinā On Up was 2nd for trainer Chuck Crissman Jr. Tim Tetrick drove. Rose Run Uriah was 3rd for trainer A. Bobby Glassmeyer. Pat Berry drove.

Crissy Crissman-Bier had three training wins on the betting card.
There will be a Pick 5 carryover of $15,751 on Monday beginning on the 6th race. The Pick 5 is a fifty cent minimum wager. Racing resumes at Dover Downs on Monday post time is 4:30 pm.
