Lexington, KY — On Thursday (May 18), following the North American Amateur Drivers Association Spring Series final at Yonkers Raceway, a $2,000 check presentation was made to New Vocations Racehorse Adoption Program to support its mission to rehab, retrain and rehome Standardbreds coming off the track.
“We are grateful for the support given by the NAADA,” stated Winnie Morgan Nemeth, the Standardbred Program Director for New Vocations. “We have had the opportunity to transition and rehome some nice amateur driving horses the past few years including Kaffir Kemp, Utopia, The Budster, Explosive Man, Uva Hanover, and Current Crisis. It has been a great partnership between New Vocations and the great people that make up the amateur driving colony.”
New Vocations Racehorse Adoption Program is accredited by the Standardbred Transition Alliance. To learn more, visit here.
