Shenandoah Downs racing applications due Friday

WOODSTOCK, VA  – 8/4/2021) – A reminder to all horsemen that racing applications for the 2021 pari-mutuel harness racing meet at Shenandoah Downs are due Friday August 6. Applications and more details are available at vhha.net and at shenandoahdowns.com.

The sixth annual meet will run from September 17 – October 16 with racing on Fridays at 3:30 PM and Saturdays at 1:00 PM. A four-day Shenandoah County Fair meet will be held Wednesday September 1 – Saturday September 4 each day at 12 Noon. Barn capacity limits have been increased at both meets to accommodate more horses than in past years.

Shenandoah Downs is located at the Shenandoah County Fairgrounds in Woodstock, Virginia, halfway between Harrisonburg and Winchester off I-81 at Exit 283.
