Harness racing amateur driver Don Sherman knows that when he has the best horse in the race that the front-end is the place to be and that’s just where Sheman put 2-5 shot Dynamic Edge (Muscle Mass) when the harness racing wings of the gate folded at Northfield Park.

They had two lengths on the field when they zipped by the quarter in :29.2 as all challengers took a seat in behind the leader.

Dynamic Edge raced unchallenged by the half in 1:00.0 and up the backside as Eddie Miller moved Admiral Allstar off the pylons and headed for the leader as did Christine Johnson with Go Go George.

But Dynamic Edge kept truckin’ and he showed the way down the lane and although Go Go George put pressure on the leader Dynamic Edge dug in and hung on to a neck triumph in 1:59.1. Fulton’s Fury garnered the show dough for Darrell Rideout.

The 9-year-old gelding is owned and trained by Jessica Roegner.  He paid $2.80 for the win.
