Johnathan Ahle and Got The Gold (Bettor’s Delight) used a late burst in the final quarter mile to take the $12,000 Mares Open Tuesday night at Rosecroft in 1:54.
Michael Hall trains the winner for the Let It Ride Stable. Pace setter Talk Show Chica (Corey Braden) was second, Siri Blue Chip (William Carter) was third.
Ahle swept the features as Ya’ll Beneath Me (Googoo Gaagaa) won the $10,000 Open Trot in 1:55.1. Richard Hans owns and trains him, who is now 28-45 lifetime. Judge Bob (Jonathan Roberts) was second and Crossfit Mouse (Braden) was third.
Ahle won three times on the card and now leads the Rosecroft Dash standings with 46 wins. Russell Foster is second with 41. Both have 212 drives on the meet. Roberts is third with 40 wins on 207 drives, with three nights remaining.
John Wagner won three times on the card as a driver and conditioner, while Jared Moyer and Trae Porter won twice. Kubi Erzene and Yogi Sheridan won divisions of the Mid Atlantic Amateur drivers club.
Rosecroft will host the first day of the two-day competition featuring drivers from Freehold and Rosecroft as part of its Thursday night card with post time set for 7:15.
