SCHENECTADY, N.Y. – The Agriculture and New York State Horse Breeding Development Fund is now accepting grant applications
Grant proposals from eligible organizations must be received by the Fund no later than June 10, 2021.
The grant application can be found here. Interested organizations are asked to review the application and the Fund’s grants policy to determine their eligibility. The Fund will review each grant application it receives and invite eligible organizations to present at a board meeting tentatively planned in late June. Grant awardees will receive written notification, including deadlines for submission of expenditure reports.
“The Fund has long provided grants to help accomplish its mission by championing programs that support and promote the breeding, research, and racing of Standardbred horses in New York,” said Executive Director M. Kelly Young. “Awarding organizations which also make this a priority is how we enhance the work of the New York Sire Stakes program and provide a foundation for the next generation to enjoy the Standardbred breed.”
