Adios Pick8 announced, with $15,000 guarantee

In lieu of our regular “Monday Memo,” The Meadows Racing will be sending various notes over the next few days related to our Grand Circuit cards this weekend, featuring the Delvin Miller Adios Pace on Saturday.

The Meadows will be adding a one-time wager, an Adios Pick8, as part of its 16-race harness racing card this Saturday (Jul. 29), Adios Day. With support from the United States Trotting Association’s Strategic Wagering Program and the Meadows Standardbred Owners Association, the pool will be guaranteed to $15,000.

The takeout will be 15%, with a base wager of 20 cents.

As a one-time wager, there will be no carryovers.  All tickets correctly selecting the highest number of winners will share in the net pool.  The Adios Pick8 will begin with race 8 on the card, and conclude with The Adios, which will be Race 15.

The Meadows also announces that the early Pick5 on Saturday will also be guaranteed to $5,000, in conjunction with the USTA and the MSOA.

Additional guaranteed pools throughout the day are planned, and more information will follow this week. Adios Day post time this Saturday will be 11:45AM.
