WASHINGTON, PA, July 25, 2024 — Guido Di (Wishing Stone-Focus On Me) stalked Tequila Talkin from the pocket, then blew by him in the Lightning Lane to earn the harness racing win — his second straight — in Thursday’s $21,200 Open Handicap Trot at Hollywood Casino at The Meadows.
The 1-2 favorite, Guido Di grabbed he early lead for driver Brady Brown but released Tequila Talkin — after stringing him out a bit. That extra effort Tequila Talkin needed to cross over may have made a difference late, as he was no match for Guido Di, who downed him by 1-1/2 lengths in 1:52.2. Commander Frank raced well first over for third.
