Harness Analyst – FanDuel Championships card

What a fantastic harness racing card we have at The Meadowlands tonight! We get to see super sophomore Confederate take on his elders in his final start. Hambletonian champ Tactical Approach also takes a shot against the aged stars in his final start.

Race 1 – 4-3-6-5

(4) SOARING NOW raced well in defeat last time when he was nailed late by a rival that was taking a second straight win. He should be the one to catch here.

Race 2 – 6-1-3-5

(6) DONATO PATRIOT K drops, and he came close to winning at this level on 11/4. He is one of several in with a chance in what looks like a wide-open race.

Race 3 – 7-8-3-2

(7) SPLASH OF PINK always looked like she had some unlocked talent and Burke has found the key recently. I’ll call here to notch the threepeat here.

Race 4 – FANDUEL CHAMPIONSHIP for FILLY AND MARE OPEN PACERS

This short field looks like a good spot for (4) MIKALA to sit to the lane and launch a furious late attack. I’ll give her the nod to upset on a track she has played giant killer on before.

Race 5 –VALLEY VICTORY FINAL for 2YO TROTTING COLTS and GELDINGS

(6) KARL towers over tonight’s rivals and only a miscue could get him beat. I like the way (4) DAQUIRI SEELSTER powered home last week and will play a straight 6-4 Exacta here.

Race 6 – FANDUEL CHAMPIONSHIP for OPEN FILLY and MARE TROTTERS

(4) JIGGY JOG S is the boss of this division when she is on her game, and I expect Dunn to have her on the engine and controlling the race by the time the field reaches the half. She is the one to beat.

Race 7 – THREE DIAMONDS FINAL for 2YO FILLY PACERS

(6) MY GIRL E J got hot at the right time and she should be very tough to beat in here. I’ll try to spice the exotics up using (9) MIRACULOUS DEO in the second slot.

Race 8 – GOLDSMITH MAID FINAL for 2YO TROTTING FILLIES

(2) SOIREE HANOVER took three weeks off after finishing a close second in the Breeders Crown Final then she got a nice easy win last week in her elimination. She will trot as fast as needed to beat these tonight.

Race 9 – GOVERNOR’S CUP FINAL for 2YO PACING COLTS and GELDINGS

(8) BOOMING ECONOMY overcame some early traffic issues to finish well last week and he is my price play of the night.

Race 10 –. FANDUEL CHAMPIONSHIP OPEN TROT

If (3) ALRAJAH ONE IT brings his best race, his rivals will be battling for 2nd here. I like the sophomore standout (1) TACTICAL APPROACH to complete the Exacta.

Race 11 – FANDUEL CHAMPIONSHIP OPEN PACE

(9) CONFEDERATE has shown himself to be one of the best sophomore pacers of the last 25 years. Great horses do great things. I say he goes out with a bang in his final start here facing the best aged pacers in North America before he heads to stud duty.

Race 12 – 8-7-3-2

(8) RIVER NESS took a win here after missing four weeks and he did it via a :27.2 kicker. Off that sharp win, I’ll give him the call to repeat.

Race 13 – 1-4-10-5

(1) I’M BURLINGTON N gets McCarthy back and he teamed up with the gelding for a win two starts back here. I’ll give him a slight nod in a tough race.

Race 14 – 5-7-9-1

(5) BB LUCKY B crushed in this class last time and he will be the one to catch again tonight, top call.
