Harness Analyst – Northfield 23rd March carryover pick five

Tonight’s harness racing action features a Pick 5 carryover of close to $5,000 at Northfield Park.

Remember, the takeout on this wager is a bettor friendly 14%.  Here is a look at the sequence and hopefully a winning ticket.

 Race 6: 2,3,7

(2) HIGH FLYIN’ FILLY had a very good sophomore campaign, winning 13 of 30 starts and she finished in the Exacta 20 times. She looks ready to roll for the Burke Brigade here.

(3) SHECOULDBEGOOD N couldn’t be any sharper, coming into the race off a 1:53.2 win. She is a must-use drawing inside with Merriman in the bike.

(7) THE GYPSY QUEEN IR has her work cut out starting from the widest post, but she has won 16 of 39 starts in 2023/24 and she is hard to leave out.

Race 7: 1,6,9

(1) FEELIN FANCY drops and draws best and she is a big threat to lead all the way.

(6) STAY SPECIAL got jammed up when the pace slowed and that was the cause of the two-horse accident she was involved in at Mohawk Park on March 8th. She beat a good field on 2/16 and she is capable here if sharp enough after missing a week.

(9) TWO ACROSS MARION is in terrific form and Wrenn sticks with her. She is in with a good chance.

Race 9: 3

(3) HONEY BUZZ takes a big drop here and Merriman will likely send her right down the road. She is a single for me.

Race 10: 1,2,3,4,7

(1) UNCLE PETES SECRET just wired a field when starting from the rail and he is a logical repeat candidate.

(2) HITWITHTHEGUY’S gets needed post relief and I could see him converting a pocket trip into an upset win.

(3) SWAN LAST SASSY draws better tonight and she is another that is in with a chance at a price.

(4) GOLDEN ENDEAVOR faced better at Miami Valley in his comeback race and he closed mildly. He would be no surprise in this spot.

(7) DIVINE ZETTE comes flying late every week and A Mac is a good partner for her. She can pass them all with the right setup.
