DOVER, Del.— Starting in the second-tier was no problem for Bay Pond Racing's Hearts N Flowers who collected her second straight win and ninth this season winning the $21,000 Mares Winners-Over pace at Dover Downs on Tuesday, Dec. 3. On the undercard, Elliesjet N made it six-in-a-row since crossing the Pacific and meet-leading driver Corey Callahan made five trips to the winner's circle on the 15-race harness racing card.
Allan Davis, who had four winning drives himself, piloted Hearts N Flowers home in 1:52.2 equaling her lifetime best clocking. The six-year-old daughter of Artiscape-Hasty Dewer has started 37 times this season with 24 win-place-show performances for trainer Wayne Givens. Tyra (Vic Kirby) took place honors with Scandalicious (Tony Morgan) third.
Elliesjet N began her career in the U.S., on Oct. 13 and has been perfect in all six starts since. Her latest, from post 8, in a $15,500 3,4&5-Year-Old Distaff pace, was clocked in 1:54.2 over a track rained upon all day. Art Stafford Jr. held the reins for trainer-co-owner Josh Parker and Evans, Spedden and Nanticoke Racing. Cover Up Hall (Wolfenden) finished second in front of Mildred's Button (Kim Vincent) third.
Girlofyourdreams made a big move on the backstretch to take command and then breezed to a 1:52.3 success in another $15,500 contest for young females. Montrell drove the Bettor's Delight-JK Majorette sophomore to her fourth win for The Wiz Kids Stable She has now won $56,010 lifetime. Sweet Bobbie (Callahan) came on to take second. Ava Destruction (Wolfenden) cut out the mile mostly under duress, and held on for third.
Callahan, who had 40 wins during November, builds up his lead with a five-bagger with runner-up Tim Tetrick on a month's vacation to Australia. Allan Davis won four races while trainers Doug Lewis, Josh Green and Joe Hundertphund had doubles

The five-year-old won his last outing after consecutive second-place finishes. Hemi Seelster makes his third start for trainer Josh Green and driver Ross Wolfenden for new owners Carl Atley, Bob :LeBlanc and Rich Lombardo, after racing his first two seasons in Canada. He closed sharply along the passing lane last week to finish second beaten a half-length. Powerful Charger has been a Delaware top class trotter for Tim Tetrick and trainer Jim King winning 12 times this year.
Bluebird Reverend, a strong Indiana-bred gelding has been in the money 16 of his 21 starts for co-owner, trainer Bobby Reeser, Dennis, Johannsen and Case. George Dennis will drive. Callam Racing’s Spunky Jack with Roger Plante in the bike leaves from the rail with Eric Foster’s Stirling Charisma and Tony Morgan, alongside. Ashes Cash, owned and trained by Leigh Raymer has been racing well adding seven wins this season and will be in the hands of meet leader Corey Callahan. Larry Fisher’s Cashontherocs, piloted by Jonathan Roberts, has been racing 'til recently at Yonkers in feature trots.
