Dayton, OH – After butting heads with some of the best harness racing pacers in North America all year long, Hellabalou (Sweet Lou) added the $25,000 Open Pace to his resume after capturing the feature event on Thursday, October 12.
Leaving from Post 7, Hellabalou and driver Chris Page used a quick turn of foot to outstep Chase H Hanover and driver Tony Hall for the front-end command. He then led the field through fractions of 27, 56.1, 1:23.3 to win by a length and a half in 1:50.3 over Chase H Hanover and JKS Champ. Hellabalou is trained by Ron Burke for owners Burke Racing Stable LLC, Eric Good, Weaver Bruscemi LLC and Larry Karr and now banks over $970,000 in career earnings. Hellabalou paid $4.60.

It was an exciting day for the connections of Let It Ride N (Rock N Roll Heaven) as the 10-year-old gelding celebrated his 50th career win.
Starting from Post 7 in the Thursday opener at Dayton Raceway Let It Ride N retreated off the car while Later Dudes set a quick early tempo up front through fractions of 27.1, 54.4, 1:22 while Let It Ride made his first over attack to nip Later Dudes and Walknaftermidnight at the wire in 1:49.4.
Let It Ride N was driven to victory by Dan Noble for trainer Mike Hitchcock for owners William Hart and Enzed Racing Stable Inc. The 50th career victory now puts Let It Ride over $910,000 in career earnings.
Let It Ride N paid $4.00 to win.
LET IT RIDE N REPLAY
Driver Chris Page rallied once again after a five-win night on Wednesday to score himself a driving hat-trick. In addition to Hellabalou, Page piloted Stonecold Blue Chip (Mike Hitchcock) and Themysteryisover (Nick Turley) to victory.
After winning with Let It Ride, Dan Noble also celebrated a driving hat-trick winning with Stars Align and Natives Filou, both for wife Christi Noble, who celebrated a training double.
