Dayton, OH – After butting heads with some of the best harness racing pacers in North America all year long, Hellabalou (Sweet Lou) added the $25,000 Open Pace to his resume after capturing the feature event on Thursday, October 12.

Hellabalou in prior win

Leaving from Post 7, Hellabalou and driver Chris Page used a quick turn of foot to outstep Chase H Hanover and driver Tony Hall for the front-end command. He then led the field through fractions of 27, 56.1, 1:23.3 to win by a length and a half in 1:50.3 over Chase H Hanover and JKS Champ. Hellabalou is trained by Ron Burke for owners Burke Racing Stable LLC, Eric Good, Weaver Bruscemi LLC and Larry Karr and now banks over $970,000 in career earnings. Hellabalou paid $4.60.

Let It Ride N was driven to victory by Dan Noble for trainer Mike Hitchcock for owners William Hart and Enzed Racing Stable Inc. The 50th career victory now puts Let It Ride over $910,000 in career earnings.

Let It Ride N paid $4.00 to win.
