Lisa Lazarus, the Executive Director of the Horseracing Integrity and Safety Authority, joins Freddie, Trade and Bob on this week’s Harness Racing Alumni Show.
Lisa addresses the misinformation that was included in the recent Wesley Ward letter that was distributed by the National HBPA. She tells us about how HISA will benefit small tracks and stables, doping substances & therapeutics now in two separate regimes. Lazarus describes the substance list, lab accreditation, HISA’s contamination policy, and how horsemen helped with developing the medication and safety rules.
HISA is also working with the Jockey’s Guild on crop rules, and more investigative work to be added with the testing. All on this week’s Harness Racing Alumni broadcast.
