The second highest odds in the $70,000 New Jersey Sire Stakes Standardbred Development Fund Stakes Final for three-year-old trotting colts, belonged to Hl Mammoth (Muscle Hill) as he was able to light up the tote board Friday (Sept. 23) at Freehold Raceway.
Sent off at odds of 36-1, Hl Mammoth was driven by Austin Siegelman, who was able to secure the two-Lhole trip behind the race favorite Gaelhill (Trond Smedshammer) and pass him by in the stretch to win impressively by one and one-half lengths in 1:58.4. Gaelhill was second with Brave By Design (Joe Bongiorno) third.
HL MAMMOTH REPLAY
It was a lifetime mark and the third win this year for Ml Mammoth, who is trained by Jenn Bongiorno for the Bukers Stable. He returned $74.40 to win.
For the second straight start, Primadonna Deo (Trixton) was able to strut her stuff in New Jersey Sire Stakes action with another impressive stakes victory at Freehold.

While race favorite Penelope J and driver Jason Bartlett was cutting the mile with Sabrina Hill (Steve Smith) sitting the pocket-seat, Primadonna Deo and driver Austin Siegelman sat third until after the half mile and then came first-over against the leaders.
By the top of the stretch, Primadonna Deo was in second place and came after Penelope J, just nailing her rival at the wire to win by a neck in 1:57.1. Brickhouse Babe (Ray Schnittker) was third.
PRIMADONNA DEO REPLAY
