HL Revadon (Andover Hall) is off to the best start of his harness racing career as the seven-year-old gelding scored his second straight triumph in the $36,000 Open Handicap Trot Thursday (Jan. 26) at Yonkers Raceway.
Starting from post five in the 2nd race, co-owner and driver Yannick Gingras left with HL Revadon and went right to the lead.
They were challenged right away by Nows The Moment and driver Austin Siegelman at the first quarter in :27.4 and then backed off for the two-hole trip.
The field raced single file to the half mile in :58 and then Flip The Switch (Jason Barlett) came first-over to challenge as they passed the three quarters in 1:27.1.
By the top of the stretch, Gingras let HL Revadon have his head and the trotter pulled away to win by two and one-half lengths in 1:55.3. Hey Livyy (Jordan Stratton) closed from fifth place at the top of the lane to be second with Flip The Switch third.
