Human Cocktail wins race of the night

Human Cocktail (Ridge Warren) captures the $10,000 race of the night at Tioga Downs on Friday (August 22).

Lou On The Beach (Braxten Boyd) was first to the quarter in :26.2 and first to the half in :54.4.  Dancing Lou (Leon Bailey) came first-up to challenge going down the backstretch.  Lou On The Beach led to three quarters in 1:22.4.

As they made the turn for home, Human Cocktail ($7.70) popped out of the pocket and blew on by second place finisher Lou On The Beach to win in 1:52.2.  I’m A Big Shot (Mike Merton) finished third.

Human Cocktail is a 5-year-old gelding by Huntsville.  He is trained by Mike Austin for owners Louis A. and Louis M. DiTullio.  It was his third win this season and ninth career victory.

Ridge Warren had a driving double.

Racing was cancelled after just six races do to a power outage.

Tioga Downs returns to live racing on Saturday (August 16) with a post time of 6:15 p.m.
