I Did It Myway (Captaintreacherous) made amends for his defeat last week and roared to a harness racing victory in the Winners Over/Blue Hen Handicap Pace at Ballyās Dover on Thursday night.
Penzance Hanover and I Did It Myway were quickest off of the wings of the starting gate at the start of the race.Ā Penzance Hanover settled into the pocket. Corey Callahan and I Did It Myway wanted the lead and got it passing the quarter in a rapid 26.2
I Did It Myway was on cruise control reaching the half in 54.4. (28.2).
Island Of The Sea tested the waters by moving 1st over before the half and chased I Did It Myway up the backstretch.Ā Sweet Angel Boy followed the dull cover 2nd over.Ā I Did It Myway, the 3/5 betting favorite, was on a mission and continued on the lead past the three quarters in 1:22.2, a 27.3 quarter.
In the stretch, Mack moved off the pylons to challenge but that bid stalled late.Ā Sir Issac Newton found room along the pylons and surged late but was unable to challenge the leader.
I Did It Myway won by an unthreatened one and a quarter lengths in 1:50.3.

I Did It Myway is owned by David Hamm, Evm Racing LLC and Glenn Phillips all from Delaware.Ā Chuck Crissman Jr trained and Corey Callahan drove.
Mack closed to finish 2nd.Ā Sir Issac Newton charged along the pylons and finished 3rd.
Tim Tetrick recorded four driving wins on the betting card.
