Inaminute Hanover (Bar Hopping) scores at 5-1 to win the $18,000 Winners Over/Select Handicap Trot at Bally’s Dover Downs on Tuesday night.

Swan’s Maid, the only female trotter in the race pressed the issue early, parking out a charged up Last Glow. That Ole Bar Stool also left from the outside but retreated to the harness racing pylons in 4th, approaching the quarter.
Last Glow cleared the lead but may have paid the price as he trotted to the opening panel in a sizzling 27.1. Driver Jack Parker Jr and Last Glow were allowed to control the tempo of the race and backed off the half to a pedestrian 57.3, a 30.2 quarter.
Rivers, the 2-1 betting favorite, raced 1st over before the half and gained momentum down the backstretch. Mickey Muscles raced 2nd over in full pursuit of the leader. Swan’s Maid waited patiently in the pocket.
Inaminute Hanover appeared to be locked in until Mickey Muscles went off stride before the three quarters. Driver Russ Foster and Inaminute Hanover were able to angle off the pylons and raced in perfect position to strike on the outside.
Last Glow amped up his game reaching the three quarters in 1:25.3, a 28 flat quarter.
Inaminute Hanover, a beneficiary of good racing fortune, charged home at the top of the stretch and outsprinted Swan’s Maid at the wire to win by a half length in 1:55 flat. He paid $13.60 for the victory.
