This Saturday, October 18, is the Meadowlands Racetrack’s first ever Corgi Cup!

This family-friendly event features Corgis racing at the track between live harness racing. It’s a night of fun, laughs, music, doggies, and horse racing. And the best part? Admission and parking are free.
This year, eighty doggy contestants will compete in eight heats that begin at 6 p.m. with the Corgi Cup Final on the track at 9:25 pm. Each heat features ten dogs racing, or frolicking, to the finish line. The eight heat winners move on to the final, which takes place on the actual racetrack.
Special thanks to Spot & Tango – an innovative pet wellness brand on a mission to revolutionize the dog food industry. They have provided our contestants with some free UnKibble dog food samples and free poop bags!
In addition to the pooch activity, fans can enjoy a variety of activities. They can party with DJ Alx and indulge in great food and cocktails from the track’s Backyard BBQ & Grill. Clyde’s Homemade Italian Ice & Ice Cream is bringing all their classic flavors plus fall favorites Pumpkin and caramel apple pie. Doggieroadtrippin will be onsite with pup-friendly activities and Groomington Eats will be here with the best dog treats in town.
Backyard doors open at 5 pm, first dog race at 6 pm, and first horse race at 6:20 pm.
