Incaseyoudidntknow (Always B Miki) surged late and won the Mares Open Handicap Pace at Bally’s Dover on Wednesday night.

Incaseyoudidntknow, who had been off over a month, parked out the 1/2 betting favorite Elektra A, thru an opening quarter in 26.4. Elektra A continued on the lead reaching the half in 56.1 (29.2). Premature right lines were pulled before the half. Betterthanhope N motored 1st up into the chilly 18 degree temperatures. Factory Girl shadowed 2nd over. Majorca N rifled 3rd over on the rim as the team raced down the backstretch.
Elektra A led the field to the three quarters in 1:24.2 ( 28.1). The backfield was in motion approaching the top of the stretch. Factory Girl grinded three wide when Betterthanhope N began to tire. Majorca N followed four wide. Incaseyoudidntknow waited patiently in the pocket as the parked out trio began to weaken.
Incaseyoudidntknow fired on all engines and collared pacesetter Elektra A in deep stretch to win by a neck in 1:52.2. She paid $11.40 for the win.
Elektra A cut the mile only to finish 2nd. Melody Hanover was 3rd.

Incaseyoudidntknow is owned by James Mango and Joseph Fonte both from Maryland. Les Givens trained and Jim Morand drove.
Thursday night, Sprocket and Alta Revelry N both victorious in their last starts, battle in $16,000 condition pace.
