HARRINGTON, DE – George Teague Jr and K&R Racing’s It’s Above Me Now ($4.60, Montrell Teague) was a wire-to-wire winner in the $100,000 2-year-old Delaware Standardbred Breeders Fund (DSBF) final for harness racing pacing colts and geldings Monday at Harrington Raceway.
The Southwind Lynx colt was a confident 1-length winner after he assumed command early from his rail post position and never relented in the win over Johnny Badlands and Clear Mist.
Trained by Clyde Francis, it was his 3rd lifetime win, all of which have come in DSBF company after sweeping his eliminations.

In a $15,000 DSBF consolation event for male pacers, Brenda Teague’s Hiro Knockout ($2.10, Montrell Teague) was a 1:56.2 winner over Badlands N Wine and Step On Over. The Southwind Lynx colt recorded his first career win for owner/trainer Brenda Teague. It was one of 3 winners driven by Teague on the card.
On the undercard, George Leager’s Slick Tony ($6.60, Jason Lynch) notched his 10th win of the year with a 1:52.2 win in a $14,800 conditioned pace.
Meet leading trainer Chuck Crissman had 3 wins on the card, joining owner Rodney Long with a triple.
Allan Davis and Art Stafford Jr. each had a driving double.
