Itsrockandroll A wins his fifth race of the year

HARRINGTON, DE – Elizabeth and Bret Brittingham’s Itsrockandroll A ($18.20, Allan Davis) was a 1:53.2 harness racing winner in the $18,000 Open Pace Monday at Harrington Raceway.

The 10-year-old A Rocknroll Dance gelding surged down the inside to grab the win over Rocknroll Lou and Captaincountrystar in his first start since May 26. It was his 5th win of the year for trainer Don Brittingham. The win pushed him over $700,000 in career earnings after making his first start since May. The former Harrington horse of the meet has already banked more than $120,000 this year.On the undercard, PT Stable’s Effingham ($3.60, Art Stafford Jr.) was a 1:53.2 winner in the $14,500 winners-over pace for trainer Crissy Crissman-Bier, who teamed with Stafford to win both halves of the daily double.

ITSROCKNROLL A REPLAY

Later on the card, Crissman Inc.’s World Beater ($3.60, Montrell Teague) won his 3rd straight race despite post 8 in 1:55.2.

Corey Callahan had 3 wins on the card.
