Joelsyy Hanover (Jk Endofanera) used a gate-to-wire effort to score a 27-1 harness racing upset in the $28,000 Open Pace in Saturday action (Oct. 25) at Hollywood Gaming at Dayton Raceway.

Tyler Smith sent Joelsyy Hanover out of the outside post #7 and grabbed the lead past the opening quarter in :27.1.
Crunch Time A (Trevor Smith) and Alta Revelry N (Jeremy Smith) were the first to move and applied pressure past the half in :55.3 and three-quarters in 1:22.4.
Joelsyy Hanover used a :27.2 final quarter to hold off a fast-closing Pj Lou (Brett Miller) by a half-length in 1:50.1.
Alta Revelry N was just three-quarters of the length back in third.
JOELSY HANOVER REPLAY
Joelsyy Hanover is co-owned by trainer Jessica Millner and Andrew Coblentz.
The seven-year-old gelded son of Jk Endofanera paid $56.60 to win.
The four-year-old gelded son of Bettor’s Delight is trained by Alicia Hanners for Lases Racing.
The night’s biggest upset came in the $11,000 conditioned pacing event in race #8.
Four More Years used a patient drive from Koltin Noble and a late three-wide move to score a 31-1 upset.
The bettor’s choice, Go Pikacho Go (Chris Page) grabbed the early lead from post #8 and was able to control the fractions of :27, :56.3 and 1:24.2.
Early moves by Caviart Eden (Kayne Kauffman) and K Man Jack (Brett Miller) provided excess cover for the eventual winner.
As the field of ten turned for home, Go Pikachu Go held on to a precarious lead, but it was Four More Years that was the fasted and crossed the line a half-length clear of K Man Jack in 1:53.1.
The entire field was within 3 ½ lengths of the winner.
Noble owns and trains the seven-year-old Always B Miki gelding.
Tyler Smith and Brett Miller both scored grand slams with four wins apiece on the 14-race card.
Dayton Raceway returns to action on Tuesday (Oct. 28) with a 4:00 PM post time.
