When harness racing driver Jonathan Roberts left out of the starting gate with Judge Bob, you know the newest member of the 40-year old club is confident in his family bred trotter.
Last night at Rosecroft Raceway, Roberts put the six year old son of Great George Two on the front end and never looked back, scoring a victory in the $10,500 Open Handicap in 1:55.2.
Trainer Megan Roberts and the Graham Grace Stables, own the now 24-time winner in 80 lifetime starts.
It was one of three wins on the night for Roberts who trail Russell Foster by one win for the Dash Driving crown with two nights remaining. Roberts broke the maiden for Ciera’s Dreamy ($13.80) and Hillbilly Camtastic who set a new mark of 1:52.3.
Jared Moyer and Timmy Offut each had two wins on the card.
