Just Like Magic grinds out Open Trot score

WASHINGTON, PA, Dec. 22, 2021 — Just Like Magic moved steadily first over and rolled to a comfortable harness racing victory in Wednesday’s $17,600 Open Trot Wednesday at Hollywood Casino at The Meadows.

When Aaron Merriman moved Just Like Magic from fourth, he gobbled up the leader, Threefiftytwo, and scored by 1/2 length in 1:54.3. Hashtagmadeyalook shot the Lightning Lane for second while Keystone Chaos rallied for show.

Joelene Christman trains the winner, a 4-year-old Dontyouforgetit-Trainedfordancin gelding who lifted his career bankroll to $113,635 and co-owns with Mark Christman.

Jeremy Indof and Merriman each collected three wins while 13 different trainers enjoyed a single victory.
