Karma Seelster (Sportswriter, Jordan Stratton) won the $27,000 harness racing feature pace at Yonkers Raceway on Friday evening (Mar. 8).
Uptown Hanover (George Brennan) took the early lead but was quickly overcome by Karma Seelster from the outside. Alexa Skye (Yannick Gingras) was racing in third as they came to the opening quarter mile in :26.4.
Karma Seelster was on top by a length and a half over pocket trip Uptown Hanover as they approached the half mile in :55.1. From the outside, Alexa Skye was first-over and looking to challenge Uptown Hanover for second. They passed the three-quarter mile in 1:23.3.
As they turned for home, Karma Seelster opened up a two and a half length lead and kept it until she crossed the wire in 1:52.3. Millwood Bonnie N (Matt Kakaley) came in second and Alexa Skye finished in third.

Karma Seelster is a 7-year-old mare trained by Andrew Adamczyk for owners Karen Hauver and Shady Hill Racing Stable. She paid $4.00 to win.
Yannick Gingras got a driving grand slam, while Jordan Stratton got a driving triple. and Matt Kakaley got a driving double. Travis Alexander had a training double.
