Lady Says Win (Western Terror), at odds of 11-1, used a perfect pocket trip from harness racing driver Trae Porter to secure the win in the $14,500 Mares Open Tuesday night (March 14) at Rosecroft Raceway.
On a cold night, where the winds were sustained at 25 mph creating a sturdy headwind in the stretch, Porter put his charge behind the pace setting Somegirlssomewherea. As the field turned for home, Lady Says Win ducked into the passing lane and gradually eased past the leader, to win in 1:55. She paid $24.00 to win.
