All four of the A and B classes of the New Jersey Classic Finals for two-year-old pacers at the Meadowlands Friday (Sept. 16) saw one dominate sire in Lazarus N as his foals captured all four of the finals.
The show got underway in the very first race of the evening, the $75,000 NJ Classic Final B Class for two-year-old pacing fillies.
Rocknation and driver Yannick Gingras were first on the lead with Twin B High Tech (Marcus Miller) grabbing the two-hole spot and race favorite Alexaās Fantasy (Lazarus N ā Pirouette Hanover, Todd McCarthy) sitting third but not for long.
MacCarthy pulled Alexaās Fantasy first-over after the opening quarter in :28.2 and grind her way to the lead at the half mile marker in :56.2. Alexaās Fantasy then held the field at bay past the three quarters in 1:24.
Coming down the stretch, Alexaās Fantasy was able to hold off the late charge of Rocknation to win by a half a length in 1:52.2. Twin B High Tech was third.

It was the second straight win and third victory lifetime for Alexaās FantasyĀ who is trained by Aaron Lambert for owner-breeder Jeff Snyder and Michael Snyder and she paid 3.20 to win as the betting favorite.
Next up was the 3rd race $75,000 NJ Classic Final Class B for the two-year-old pacing colts and geldings.
After a quick battle for the early lead, Kraken Seelster (Lazarus N ā Kitn Kitn) and driver Yannick Gingras was able to force Lootable (Dexter Dunn) to take a two-hole at the first quarter in :27.2.
From that point on Kraken Seelster led the rest of the race, cutting fractions of :56.3 and 1:25.4. He then was able to hold off the late charging Country Courtesy (Montrell Teague) to win by a neck in 1:53.3. Undeniablebluechip (Brian Sears) was third.

It was the second lifetime win for Kraken SeelsterĀ who is trained by Linda Toscano for owner Tess Waxman of Ontario. She paid $8.20 to win.
The fourth race was the $150,000 NJ Classic Final A Class for two-year-old pacing fillies and time the winner came from off the pace.
Ucandoit Blue Chip (Yannick Gingras) worked their way to the lead after a :27.4 first quarter with Lisa Lane (Patrick Ryder) in the pocket seat and Two Pistol Annie (Lazarus N ā Magical Bestern, Dexter Dunn) in third place as they raced single final to the half mile in :56.
Dunn then pulled on the right line and sent Two Pistol Annie first-up against Ucandoit Blue Chip to the three-quarters in 1:24. By the top of the stretch Ucandoit Blue Chip began to fade as Two Pistol Annie pulled away from the field to win in a romp by four open lengths in 1:51, last quarter in :26.3.
Wall Of Blue (Tim Tetrick) was second with Lisa Lane third.
TWO PISTOL ANNIE REPLAY
It was a lifetime mark by four full seconds for Two Pistol AnnieĀ and her second career win. She is trained by NK Drennan for owner Brenda Selwyn Waxman and Tess Waxman of Ontario. She paid $4.20 to win.
The last NJ Classic Final was for $150,000 and was a non-wagering race for two-year-old colts and geldings due to only three starters.
Featured was the top colt pacer, Voukefalas (Lazarus N ā Inittowinafortune) and driver Jordan Stratton and they cut fractions of :28.1, :58.2 and 1:27.2, holding the field at bay the entire mile.
Coming down the stretch, the pocket sitting Handlelikeaporsche (Dexter Dunn) came after Voukefalas but it was too late, and they won by a half a length in 1:53.4, last quarter in :26.2. Lifes Puzzle (Tim Tetrick) was third.
Trained by Michael Russo VoukefalasĀ is a homebred owned by Michael Pagonas. It was his third straight win.
