Let It Ride N rallies out of the fog at Dover

Let It Ride N and harness racing driver Dexter Dunn came from off the pace in the fog and won the $32,500 Preferred Handicap Pace at Dover Downs on Thursday night.

Penzance Hanover and driver took Art Stafford Jr. took advantage of the low visibility and foggy weather conditions and blasted to the top at the start of the race. Penzance Hanover set race fractions of :26.3, :55 (:28.2) and 1:22.1 (:27.1).

The betting race favorite, Let It Ride N was in fourth place on the final turn and stormed home and won in 1:50.1. The margin of victory was three quarters of a length. He paid $2.60 to win.

Let It Ride N (Rock N Roll Heaven) is owned by William A. Hartt of Carmel, ME and Enzed Racing Stable Inc. of Allentown N.J. R. Nifty Norman trains. Penzance Hanover was 2nd for trainer/ driver Art Stafford Jr. Seventh Secret was 3rd for trainer Chuck Crissman Jr. Allan Davis drove.
